This weekly Tarot message coincides with the Full Moon in Libra, on April the 6th.
It is fitting then that the intellectually curious and mischievous Page of Swords appears as a warning to avoid spreading rumors or listening to them.
Before we share information or come upon a piece of information, we should take the time to make sure it comes from reliable sources and that it is verified.
Traditionally, the Page of Swords represents children and adolescents who have not yet formed a sense of self and the ability for ethical considerations when experimenting with, using or spreading ideas.
On a deeper level, it may signify that new thoughts or ideas are emerging this week that will require some incubation period before they can be useful or make a significant contribution in our lives or in the lives of others.
The Tarot may be telling us that if we are tempted to discard some knowledge or piece of information because we do not deem ourselves ready to act upon it or use it, we should nevertheless hold on to it for future reference or action.
This will be particularly true in the sphere of relationships and partnerships as the Full Moon in Libra highlights the sign of compromise and balance. We may expect feedback or clarity of some kind, and some of it may not sit well with us. Because Uranus is involved in the cosmic equation, elements of surprise are in store with the consequence of having us reconsider certain objectives for practical reasons.
Since Venus, the planet that governs the sign of Libra, is still traveling in the sign of Taurus, related namely to personal resources, only information that can be useful for the improvement of living conditions should be retained or seriously considered.
Mercury's retrograde motion in the sign of Taurus between April 21 and May 15 reinforces the message to pay special attention to the quality of the information that feeds us, but also the information that we feed others. This affects in particular contracts for the purchase and sale of goods or services. The period between April 7 and April 21 before the actual retrograde motion is important to notice which information, good or service will come under scrutiny.
